Mark Mitchell led the #15 ranked Missouri Tigers in an upset win 110-98 over the #4 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in this men’s basketball game, with a career high 31 points on 11 of 15 shooting.  What’s interesting about this box score, however, is not the steller shooting of Mitchell, or Caleb Grill who scored 25 points off the bench, it’s the poor free throw shooting of the team.  They shot only 66% from the line on a high volume of free throws, making 31 of 47.  Compare that to the Crimson Tide who only made 15 of 21.  That discrepancy in free throw shots is largely responsible for the Tigers winning the game.
