Wow!  The day after learning first-time NBA All-Star and leading Defensive Player of the Year candidate Victor Wembanyama would miss the rest of the season due to a medical issue, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Phoenix Suns 120-109.  They did it by playing team basketball.  All 9 players who got in the game scored at least 8 points, of which 7 of them scored in double-digits (including all 4 players off the bench); and their 44 made field goals was the difference in the game (the Suns had 38).  And while the Spurs ability to block shots suffered without Wemby anchoring the paint (only 3 total blocks; 2 by PG De’Aaron Fox), it didn’t stop them from swiping 13 steals.  Impressive!
