The Elevator set play and it's many variations are designed to execute against man-to-man defenses. In this play multiple choreographed screens are set in motion to get multiple shooter's open. The first option is to hit a shooter who runs off a baseline screen to get open in the corner, but if he remains covered then his screener cuts up the paint for a three point look from the top of the key.
