The Give & Go is a timeless classic basketball play; a two-man game that is very difficult to defend. In this set play, one player passes the ball to a teammate on the right and then cuts hard left toward the basket. Savvy offensive players may continue running for a step or two in the direction of the pass, lulling the defender to sleep, or maybe jab step to the right to get the defender leaning in that direction before cutting hard in the opposite direction to the left, ready to receive a bounce pass in stride. When you catch your defender sleeping, it’s bucket!
