This is what a blowout looks like in an NBA game. The Portland Trail Blazers thumped the Charlotte Hornets 141-88 in Portland’s largest blowout win in team history. They made 51 of 87 shots (58%) including 20 of 43 three’s (46%), to Charlotte’s 34% shooting with 15%, respectively. Yikes! Portland had 4 players score 20+ points, led by Anfernee Simons who had 25. Interestingly, the three other players, Toumani Camara, Jabari Walker, and Shaedon Sharpe each had exactly 20 points. As a side note, this has happened before where 4 Portland players scored 20+ points in the same game with 3 of the 4 scoring exactly 20 points (in fact, it is the subject of my artwork Fourtland). What are the odds of that?! Maybe I should make an art series featuring this phenomenon/coincidence..?
If you're a baller like me and you like analyzing shot charts like this, then you may appreciate my shot chart art. Check it out! Game recognize game. Much appreciated…
